Tiefenbrun Law was founded by Robert Tiefenbrun, a litigator with fifteen years of experience in securities, shareholder, and complex litigation at leading international law firms. Robert has represented public and private companies, large financial institutions, investment funds, directors, officers, and individual investors in federal and state litigation, regulatory proceedings, and internal investigations.

Robert Tiefenbrun
Robert Tiefenbrun is a litigator with extensive experience representing corporate and individual clients in complex litigation and investigations.
Robert started his legal career in 2011 at Cahill Gordon in the financial district of New York City, where his work included representation of major Wall Street clients in matters related to the financial crisis of 2008. Before founding Tiefenbrun Law, Robert served as Counsel in Securities Litigation & SEC Investigations at Goodwin Procter in downtown Los Angeles, where he worked on a variety of federal securities class actions and private investment disputes. His practice has included securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, corporate governance disputes, SEC enforcement matters, internal investigations, and a variety of other complex disputes.
Robert has represented some of the world's largest financial institutions, public and private companies, investment funds, directors, officers, and individual investors. His experience spans industries including financial services, technology, life sciences, digital assets, corporate transactions, and investments.
Robert received his J.D. and masters degrees from Duke University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served on the Duke Law Journal. He received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa for his studies in music, French literature, and philosophy.
